The Portfolio ONLY STRIPS. ONLY COLORS depicts the city of Milan with inserts in the context of the scene.
The colored stripes, far from being only additional colors, have the function of providing indications of the historical, environmental, poetic, urbanistic and architectural contents through which the Milanese metropolis is narrated, even in its contemporary aspect, prompting the audience to ask questions and activate knowledge and stimulating a participatory observation capable of activating that change that is at the basis of every artistic work: transforming the observer and his vision.
In this work, Milan eschews the flow of digital and consumer images conveyed by the “easy shots” into which modern communication falls. The intentionality of these photographs is to have still images intended to preserve a memory with respect to aspects of the city that deserve to be discussed, studied, remembered.

Le strisce colorate, lontano dall’essere solo colori aggiuntivi, hanno la funzione di fornire indicazioni su contenuti storici, ambientali, poetici, urbanistici, architettonici attraverso cui è raccontata la metropoli milanese, anche nel suo aspetto contemporaneo, spingendo il pubblico a porsi domande e attivare conoscenze e stimolando un’osservazione partecipativa in grado di attivare quella modifica che è alla base di ogni lavoro artistico: trasformare l’osservatore e la sua visione.
In questo lavoro, Milano è sottratta al flusso di immagini digitali e di consumo veicolato dagli “scatti facili” in cui rientra una comunicazione moderna. L’intenzionalità di queste fotografie è l’aver fissato immagini destinate a conservare una memoria rispetto ad aspetti della città che meritano di essere discussi, studiati, ricordati.
