Azure sky with grey-white clouds. Today I am going to study Nymphaea Laydekeri Rosea. It was also included in Monet’s first order. He wanted to capture the “fleeting moment” and I too must be as quick as possible: I want to fix the moment, to capture the effect of a moment.
I often do this also with the camera. I am aware. The external and internal conditions that specify “that instant” will disappear in a few minutes. The palette will be the only testimony of this moment in which there is a true, profound feeling of mine.

Cielo azzurro con nuvole grigio-bianco. Oggi mi appresto a studiare la Nymphaea Laydekeri Rosea. Voglio cogliere “l’attimo fuggente” e devo essere il più rapida possibile: catturare l’effetto di un momento.
Lo faccio spesso anche con la macchina fotografica. Sono consapevole. Le condizioni esteriori ed interiori che precisano “quell’istante” verranno meno in pochi minuti. La palette sarà l’unica testimonianza di questo momento in cui ci sia un vero, profondo mio sentire.
