According to the artist’s observations, water drinks light but also reflects it, in a multiplicity of sudden and diffused splen- dours. At times it captures light laying it down gently, like a veil on its surface, breaking down and dematerializing the reflections into abstract forms, almost monochromatic wakes, swaying on its soft mirror. Opacity and transparency are also closely related to the effects of the air and its “thickness”.

Secondo le osservazioni dell’artista, l’acqua beve la luce ma la riflette anche, in una molteplicità di splendori improvvisi e diffusi. A volte la cattura deponendola dolcemente, come un velo sulla sua superficie scomponendo e smaterializzando i riflessi in forme astratte, scie quasi monocromatiche, ondeggianti sul suo specchio molle. Opacità e trasparenza sono in stretta relazione anche con gli effetti dell’aria e del suo “spessore”.
